✨ New Restoration: Alan Turing in Color!

This week, a slightly different project from my usual restorations, but just as inspiring: the iconic photo of Alan Turing that I’ve restored and colorized.

I recently (re)watched The Imitation Game, which made me want to pay tribute to this underappreciated genius. My background in computer science probably has something to do with it too… After all, Turing is basically the “father” of our field!

Who was Alan Turing? Mathematician, cryptologist, and computer science pioneer, Turing played a key role in World War II by breaking the Enigma machine code, saving thousands of lives. He also laid the foundations of modern computing with the concept of the universal computer (the “Turing Machine”).
